CEDAE's initiative promotes debates and presentations focused on the importance of safe water and its impact on public health

On Water Day, celebrated on March 22, the Rio de Janeiro State Government is holding the event "Dialogues between Public Health and Drinking Water" at Casa G20. Coordinated by CEDAE, the meeting aims to be a forum for wide-ranging discussion, bringing together experts from various fields to address issues essential to the well-being of the population.

The debate will provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices related to ensuring access to safe drinking water and its direct influence on promoting public health. The special program will begin at 6pm with a musical reception by the CEDAE Choir, followed by a debate in which experts in public health, basic sanitation and environmental engineering will share their visions and solutions for guaranteeing water quality and preventing diseases related to its consumption.

In addition to the formal presentations, the conversation will include interactive discussion sessions, allowing participants to share their own experiences, challenges and solutions related to the topic. The aim is to foster an open and constructive dialog to promote collaboration between the public health and sanitation sectors, with a view to continuously improving the living conditions and health of the population.
