Rio government presents Casa G20 to embassies in Brasilia

The space was opened as a point of exchange and exchange of cultural experiences, as well as providing support for the international press 

On Tuesday afternoon (02/04), representatives of the diplomatic bodies of the G20 countries got to know the details of the G20 House, installed in the Casa da Cultura Laura Alvim in Ipanema. The meeting was organized by the State Department for Culture and the Creative Economy and the Undersecretariat for International Affairs of the Civil House of the Government of the State of Rio. The goal is to offer the Casa spaces to promote activities to enable cultural exchange between the member countries. 

The presentation was attended by the Secretary for Culture and Creative Economy, Danielle Barros, the Undersecretary for International Affairs, Bruno Costa, the Institutional Relations representative for Enel Brasil, sponsor of the Casa G20 project, Sílvia Saddi, and the CEO of Quitanda Soluções Criativas, the project's director, Paulo Feitosa. 

- We want to promote the state of Rio to the world and open up our Casa so that countries can present their cultural manifestations - explained Undersecretary Bruno Costa. 

 Secretary Danielle Barros recalled that Rio de Janeiro is a world reference in terms of landscape, cultural heritage and the people who inhabit and build the state. 

 - We are happy to be able to promote Rio and proud to offer this Casa which is a symbol of hospitality, as a differential. A house on the edge of Ipanema Beach, sung about all over the world, which will be the stage for demonstrations and ideas to overcome inequalities - he commented.
