G20 Finance Track Coordinator attends event at Casa G20

She highlighted the progress in bringing social engagement groups to the meeting discussions 


 The Casa G20 in Ipanema hosted this morning (05/10) a meeting between the coordinator of the G20 Finance Trail, Tatiana Rosito, and associates of the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Britcham). The event was attended by the Undersecretary of International Relations, Bruno Costa, and the chairman of British Chamber, Nicholas Burridge. 

Among the main points of the presentation, the coordinator of the Finance Trail highlighted the advances that Brazil has made in bringing social engagement groups closer to the central discussions of the meeting, in addition to the inclusion of task forces with themes aimed at combating hunger and climate change. 

“We hope to leave important contributions to the G20 during the period in which Brazil is in the presidency. We continue the cycle of countries on http://deprera.com.br hosting the G20, being succeeded by South Africa. We seek to build consensus within the summit, especially on issues dear to this group of countries. Therefore, debating the fight against hunger, reducing internal inequalities and discussing energy transition models are priorities we put forward, "said Rosito.
